Everyone Relax! Zverev is fine (for now)

Zverev has been a little slump, we all know that. After showing a lot of promise by winning Rome, Madrid and the ATP finals in 2018, we were waiting for Sascha's next title to be a Grand Slam. But it looks like 2019 may not be the year. As of recently, Alexander Zverev lost to young Chilean talent, Nicholas Jarry in three sets (6-3 5-7 6-7). Personally, I have been a Jarry fan since I saw him play at last years US Open. He is a big guy that can give any top player a run for their money and he proved that against Zverev

Losing to Jarry has resulted in Zverev's 2019 record going to 12-7. He has also lost to the likes of Fognini in Monte Carlo, Raonic in Australia and Ferrer in Miami. Oh, and don't forget Struff in California at Indian Wells. Fognini won Monte-Carlo and beat a vulnerable Nadal too so that's not bad. Raonic is a tough hard court player, especially in a Grand Slam setting. Ferrer... I don't know what was going on there, to be honest.

Let us not forget that Zverev is only 22 years-old. He is proven that he can win big tournaments. He has the talent and the ability to be great. But there seems to be something holding him back. From what I have heard on tour, Zverev puts a lot of pressure on himself to perform and perform quickly by winning majors but to that, I say, "RELAX". At 22 years old, he has already done more than what most players are able to accomplish on tour. He still has a lot of time to win that major he so desperately seeks. So for all you Zverev fans, no need to hit the panic button (at least for this year).
