Osaka Will do NO PRESS at the 2021 French Open

This was a good one. I think Osaka is doing the right thing here. As an athlete that has made over $50 million dollars in a single year (last year), getting fined for not doing press is one thing. But to not do press to bring awareness to mental health issues in sports, AMAZING!

Osaka is even asking that all the money she will eventually just give to the WTA for "skipping" press talks, be given to charities that focus on treating mental health. Other players on tour have been open to expressing their feelings about mental health. One other player that has been outspoken on these issues are Noah Rubin.
